Joel LaRusic started his own successful home-based gardening and landscaping business called Dirty Deeds Landscaping about fifteen years ago and has been passionately involved in the industry every since.

While he started the company as a one-man operation, he built it into a thriving business that employed up to ten people and served much of the Vancouver area. The idea for writing this book came to LaRusic because he wanted to share the tips, tricks, and wisdom he picked up the hard way throughout his many years in the business. As LaRusic says, “I wanted to share the details because it’s the details that are so important in this line of work.”

LaRusic still lives in beautiful and verdant Vancouver, British Columbia.

* The book was printed and bound professionally. When you buy a copy you get to put on your bookshelf (you don’t have to read the book on your computer screen or a looseleaf binder).

* A CD ROM was professionally produced to give the buyer samples, worksheets and forms that can be used in their own businesses.

* Finally, the book is available in quality retail outlets such as Barnes & Noble, amazon.com and Chapters/Indigo.

E-books have their place and are not without worth however, please use caution when purchasing such items. Remember, the standards of the publishing industry (as noted above) do not apply to self-published e-books. The ease of creating e-books and publishing them on the internet means that anyone can publish anything. So it’s a buyer beware situation.

To be able to offer my readers the very most, I purchased a number of e-books and kits on the subject of the landscape maintenance business (Cost ranges from $40 - over $100). Let me assure you that my book includes most of what they do… and a lot more on top. And this for just a fraction of the price.
