		<description>Great stuff.  Plus using the proper mulch in your landscaped beds does wonders for water conservation.  Where I live in the southeast, pine straw is used everywhere to help retain moisture.</description>

		<description>Excellent article. Did you know about a product called Hydretain. It is a liquid soil moisture management product which absorbs moisture and creates a film around the root zone to prevent moisture from evaporating too quickly. It really works and can cut water usage by 50% to 70%.
Golf courses around the country are starting to use it. It is also being applied by smart farmers at planting to ensure the fledging plants survive during periods of drought or high temperatures.
