Well we had our first big dump of snow yesterday…around 22cm. Looks like it will stay until Monday. Almost finished all of our fall clean ups, so that is not too bad. The season is just about finished (days left) and here I sit renewing my contracts for 2006…I want to get them mailed out before the Christmas break, that way the sooner I get them signed I can figure out my staffing requirements and budget for the year.

I also included a customer letter specific to each client letting them know my ideas and concerns for the following year. In the letter I offer a 5% discount to pre-pay for the season…this starts my cash flow a lot earlier in the year.

It is never too early to start thinking about next season.
